Concordancer in LM Professional

LM Pro 2.2 test version ( Version >= 2.107)


LM can apply a concordancer function to the "Text tab" result in the Search Window. Invoke it by right-clicking with the mouse over the text search result (The left window).
 

In this example we use an "OR" search, which generates two strings per hit item. In the text window these two strings are delimited by a square symbol. The concordancer shows them separately -- switch between the search words with the combo box on the bottom bar.

You can even write a new word (not belonging to the search arguments) and get the alignment. (Showing the subset of strings that happen to contain the word.)


 
 

Press OK to return to the item (line) connected with the line under the cursor in the concordancer window.

Note that the Search Window only reports the first occurrence of the search argument(s) in an item.

"Word Radius" sets the number of words on either side of the target word.
